Interstates traces the travels of a young woman in search of a sense of place. As she drives across America, she navigates highways, old memories and new relationships from Nevada to Maine, trying on different lives to find where she belongs. The word "Interstates" comes to refer to both geographic and internal states of being. A quartet of actors serves as a movement chorus, transforming from characters to landscape to moving vehicles to help tell the story.

"You'll be seeing a lot of Brenneman...and probably hearing about Sabrina Peck, the choreographer / director who built these works and has, since graduating from Harvard, been a prime mover in several innovative theater projects."
